Bella formerly Cinnamon

We adopted Bella formerly Cinnamon May 1, 2010 and she has been a wonderful first dog for my kids and I. Thank goodness for the foster homes who work with these puppies they rescue. I am happy to say, Bella has never had a #2 accident in my house. She has only had one accident when she got scared during a thunderstorm - not bad for a 3 month old puppy. The foster house recommended her to me as our first dog and I am sure glad I trusted her word. She has a personality plus and is great with the kids.

Bella is enjoying the fenced in yard and loves to go outside. She has tons of energy and really has quite a fast step to her when we walk. She keeps right in stride with me when I run with her and really catches on fast. She has brought plenty of enjoyment for my kids and I. She even endured a nine day vacation without us and has had no sign of separation anxiety while we were gone. I had my babysitter stay at my house while we gone and I think that made all the difference. She has really brought us a lot of happiness!!! Thanks so much for the work you do to rescue these dogs and find them a place where they have a chance to be loved.

Indy Annie

It's now been five years since we (senior citizens) adopted this wonderful, yet incorrigible love of our lives.
PP was right on: Indy is definitely excitable. We've learned that, even though Indy has received her AKC CGC (Canine Good Citizen), no amount of obedience classes can ever remove her excitability trait. (In new or unfamiliar situations, we rely on our Gentle Leader/Halti collar and/or high value treats).
Training Indy has been hard work, yet one well worth the reward/investment. I can't begin to explain the excitement - and tears - when at last I realized that my dog and I were communicating! (The AKC classes - and brutal honesty of our trainer - have proved invaluable)!!!
Indy came to us with food intolerance, which lead me to research pet food, which lead me to "Whole Dog Journal" and their annual pet food recommendations, which solved her intolerance issues.
Indy's grinning vet, amazed she tolerates a battery operated toothbrush, recently stated that because we brush her teeth regularly and keep her weight at his recommended 40#, "she'll live forever" (Don't we wish).
PP was accurate that Indy was a needy dog. We've done our best - and we hope beyond - in these past five years to comply with our PP adoption contract.
No one could love this wonderful "mutt'" more.

Miss Mia

I adopted Mia, a 5 (or 6) year old American Shorthair cat from Perfect Paws just over 2 years ago. Mia has been the most wonderful addition to my home. She is quiet and she does not scratch furniture. She loves to curl up on her Kitty Condo and look out of the window or stretch out on the back of the sofa and put her paw on my shoulder as I read or watch TV. She loves to watch Animal Planet, and she can Nap with the best of them. She is sweet and loving and I cannot imagine her not being in my life. She sleeps on the foot of my bed. Thank you Perfect Paws for fostering my girl until I came to adopt her! Mia's picture is on the Perfect Paws website under "Successful Adoptions". She is beautiful. I firmly believe in adopting Older Animals. They need loving homes and don't usually pose the issues that a younger pet can. Thank you Perfect Paws!
